About Neurodiversity

This course will introduce neurodiversity and provide you with a better understanding of neurodiverse conditions. It will encourage you to challenge any preconceptions and celebrate the benefits of difference.

Each section consists of videos in which you will hear personal testimony from those with neurodiverse conditions and from specialists and researchers in the field. It will encourage you to reflect on team diversity, how you can be a reasonable manager, and whether you and your organisation are benefitting from the advantages that can be gained by supporting neurodiversity in the workplace.

On completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Describe neurodiversity and related conditions
• Identify the benefits of encouraging neurodiversity in the workplace
• Evaluate current work practice, processes, and environment to ensure they are neurodiverse-friendly.
